Dakotathon, a partnered program with Miracle Network Dance Marathon, is a nationwide, student-run philanthropy that raises money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. More specifically, University of South Dakota's fundraising dollars go to Sanford Children's Hospital - the region's only affiliate of Children's Miracle Network hospitals. 

These funds play a crucial role in supporting medical research, treatment, and services for children and families facing health challenges. Dakotathon is the largest student organization on USD's campus and the highest student ran philanthropy in the state of South Dakota.
